No Big Deal, It’s Just Obama And Bourdain Dining Cheap Viet Noodles Together

President Barack Obama is in Vietnam to continue normalizing Vietnam and US’ relationship by lifting off a decades-long ban on the sale of military equipment to Vietnam. But after looking over some State Affairs, POTUS also joined Anthony Bourdain, chef, TV personality and CNN’s travel and food show host of Parts Unknown for dinner in a humble eatery called Bún chả Hương Liên in Hanoi.

The two looking like a couple of regular expats eating together in a local restaurant like it’s no big deal.

Bourdain is traveling to different countries for his show to feature hole-in-the-wall food hubs, meals and street foods to show off every countries’ culture. Just last month, Manila was featured on the pilot episode of the 7th season of Parts Unknown featuring Sisig, Kare-kare and Chicken Joy.

$6 dinner with cold beer! Now, that’s incredible! Bourdain sure knows his way around.

According to CNN, the Hanoi episode will air on September.
